The Mind Behind the Machine
Brand Experience Strategist · Creative Director · Marketing Manager
I’m Melissa, but in here you can call me Milli. I live at the intersection of creative strategy and roll-up-your-sleeves execution. From national brand tours to building nonprofit digital infrastructure from scratch, I bring agency hustle and client-side wisdom to everything I touch.
My superpower is taking big ideas and turning them into activations, campaigns and systems that actually work. A U.S. Cellular market launch, a Rubbermaid display program for Costco, a $170K annual grant portfolio for a century-old garden club from Microsoft and Google.
Currently pursuing my MBA in Digital Marketing & Data Analytics. Always building.

of turning brand visions into real-world experiences across agency, client and nonprofit worlds.
The Timeline
Every role sharpened a different edge.
The First Fold
Before the grants and the brand systems, there were two Iowa college towns, a car full of demo kits, and a video game to get into players’ hands. In December 2010 I booked and ran a bar-and-Greek-house tour for Def Jam Rapstar across the University of Iowa and Iowa State — sourcing venues, working promoters, staffing brand ambassadors and running the activation on the ground, night after night.
The original 2010 tour albums — ten nights across two campuses, every venue I locked and lit up.
The Arsenal
The kit behind the work.
I treat AI as a creative partner, not a shortcut. Everything I create with it is born from a real reference point — source imagery, footage or ideas created or captured by me or a trusted partner. It compresses the distance between an idea and a shipped campaign, so I can move faster, test more, and spend my time on the strategy and taste that actually move a brand.
